Minimalistic Taylor Swift Tattoo Ideas

I have loved Taylor Swift since I was 13 dancing to Our Song in my bedroom, and it is a love story that has continued well into my 30s. As someone with many tattoos (13 funnily enough), I have always wanted to get a small tattoo for one of her songs, but the perfect thing has evaded me for years. Here are a few ideas I’ve found and been inspired by, or come up with on my own as tributes to one of my favorite artists. Steal them, repurpose them, or weigh in on your favorites!

All Too Well

  • A little line-drawn scarf (in red, if you’re into color tattoos. For me it’s all black & grey)

  • A few falling leaves

Marjorie

  • “Never be so kind, you forget to be clever / Never be so clever you forget to be kind”

You’re On Your Own, Kid

  • “Something different bloomed / writing in my room'“

  • “Cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned / Everything you lose is a step you take”

August

  • “For the hope of it all”

Clean

  • A hand poking through an open skylight

  • Dark clouds with rain

Willow

  • An old school handheld lantern for ‘Wait for the signal and I’ll meet you after dark’

  • A willow tree

  • “Wreck my plans”

Ivy

  • A pair of hands, one on top of the other with snow & sparkles in between them for ‘my pain fits in the palm of your freezing hand’

  • An ivy covered house

Folklore

  • A thicket of trees

  • A birch tree
